Doing Stuff Outdoors-100

This is the 100th edition of DSO. Gary had hoped to produce a special anniversary show complete with balloons and fireworks to celebrate. Well it isn't going to happen, on this show at least. But plans are underway for a special anniversary edition of DSO down the road and you can learn more about it on today's show.

Also today, a road report from cyclists Eric and Elaine Hendrickson from Presque Isle, Maine. And on the 'Runners' segment Gary talks to 70 year old Frank Kelly and his daughter Marta. He started running in his late 60's and wore a pair of hiking boots on his first race. Frank must have caught the running bug because he and Marta ran the Boston Marathon together this year.
