Doing Stuff Outdoors
Adventures for Outdoor Enthusiasts doingstuffoutdoors.com

Today on the show we look at the sport of Orienteering.   It’s a running activity involving navigation, usually in the woods with a map and compass.  It’s a huge sport all over the world, especially in some European countries but Gary, like many North Americans, doesn’t know very much about it.  So he hung out at the Provincial Orienteering Championships held recently in Rockwood Park in Saint John, New Brunswick.  People of all ages participated in the six courses set up for the event.  Gary spoke with many of them and the president of Orienteering New Brunswick.

Also on the podcast… news of an early season dump of snow in the mountains and podsafe music from …living in a loop?
